The grass withers, the flower fades;

but the word of our God will stand forever.

The leaf shrivels, so too the shade,

May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy

May those who sow in fear be neither harmed nor destroyed

May those who sow in sorrow harvest with delight

For all who sow, sow for tomorrow, with hope that falls by night
